What were the names of the two early Summit County daredevils who built the ski jump at Excelsior Hill and the more famous Dillon Hill Ski Jump- an area that now overlooks the current Dillon Dam road?

Those pioneers were Eyvind Flood and Peter Pestrud. The Dillon Ski Jump- which attracted "yumpers" (as the Scandinavian Ski Team referred to themselves as) from all over the World. Jumper Anders Haugen set a world distance record there in 1919 at 213 feet!
